21st Cares: Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley

Our team volunteered at The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley. While there, we cleaned and disinfected kennels, brought in newspapers from their shed and organized them to be used in the indoor kennels, and ended the day socializing with some of the pups. We had a great time and really felt like we helped them prepare so they could spend their time caring for all the sweet animals. They told us the pup in the last picture, Rusty, was rescued from a bad situation and only weighed 30 pounds when they got him. He was still skin and bones, but they are working to rehabilitate him and get him to a good home!
