Payment Options

At 21st Mortgage, there are several methods to assist in making your loan payment. A conforming payment is a periodic payment sufficient to cover principal, interest, and escrow, where applicable, for a given billing cycle. The payment must be made in US currency and accompanied by an account number or the provided payment coupon. Conforming payments shall be applied to the account the day the payment was received. Customers may make conforming loan payments that will be applied to the account the same day the payment was received by the following methods:

Automatic Draft

The easiest and recommended method of payment is automatic draft. We obtain your written authorization and withdraw the payment amount automatically from your checking account when the payment is due.

To enroll in automatic draft:
1) Contact the Customer Service Department, or call 800-955-0021 ext. 2900 to initiate the process.
2) Fax this completed form to 877-830-3100.

On-line Bill Pay Through Bank Account

Online Payments may be made through the customer’s bank account via online transfer.
Payments must be completed by the customer by 2:30 p.m. EST Monday – Friday, except Federal Public Holidays.

On-line Payment

Payments may be made at our online payment site using a checking or savings account.
Payments must be completed online by 10:00 p.m. EST Monday - Friday, except Federal Public Holidays.

Payment by Phone

-Payments by phone may be made using a checking or savings account number. Payments must be made by speaking with a financial counselor and completing a Check-by-Phone using the customer’s checking or savings account.
-Payment must be completed by 10:00 p.m. EST Monday - Friday, except Federal Public Holidays.
-To make a payment by phone, please call 800-955-0021 and speak with any financial counselor.

Relief for Servicemembers

If you or a family member are in the military, you may be eligible for certain rights and protections under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), including a reduction in the interest rate on your mortgage for the duration of your active duty plus a period of one year thereafter, as well as protection from foreclosure for the duration of your active duty plus a period of nine months thereafter.

Fee Schedule


Subordination Fee for Second Mortgages: $250. Agreement signed and recorded by junior lien holders to subordinate their liens to 21st Mortgage’s. (Not applicable for AL, IA, MN, MO, OH, WA, WV and WY.)
Late Fees: Lesser of 5% of past due payment amount after the 15th day of delinquency or per contract if permitted by state law. For New York loans secured at least in part by real estate, 2% of past due payment amount after the 15th day of delinquency or per contract.
Non-Sufficient Funds: Lesser of $20.00 or per contract. Assessed when a draft or check is returned by your bank due to insufficient funds in the account or when the account does not exist.
Attorney’s fees: Reasonable attorney’s fees for hourly work performed if 21st Mortgage has to rely upon an attorney to enforce its interest in the collateral or defend a claim. These may include attorney's fees for borrower bankruptcy filings or foreclosure/replevin proceedings.
Broker Price Opinion (BPO) Fee: Charged by broker if a BPO is needed to ascertain the value of the collateral for certain loss mitigation options or foreclosure sale.
Title Search Fee: Charged by title company or title examiner to determine condition of title prior to filing a foreclosure accepting a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure
Appraisal fees: Charged by an appraiser to ascertain the value of a property.
